入宿前Before check-in

Q1.學生宿舍有提供什麼設施?

A1.公共區域:每棟宿舍皆有交誼廳、閱覽室,提供投幣洗衣機、烘衣機及販賣機等設施。

個人寢室:書桌(附檯燈)、床板(沒有床墊)、衣櫃等,提供網路、冷氣(需另冷氣卡加值並自付電費)等設施。

Q1.What facilities are available in the student dormitories?

A1.Common Areas:

Each dormitory building is equipped with a lounge,and a reading room. Coin-operated washing machines, dryers, and vending machines are also available.

Private Bedroom: Each resident is provided with a desk (with a lamp), bed board (without a mattress), and wardrobe. Internet and air conditioning are also provided (residents are responsible for topping up their AC card to pay for electricity).

Q3.Does the school sell mattresses, quilts, pillows, and other bedding, or can I buy them near the school?

A3.The school doesn't centrally sell items like mattresses, quilts, or pillows. Students living in the dorms will need to purchase these items themselves.

A5.學校沒有強制大一新生一定要住宿,但會保留床位給大學部新生,若床位不足時,得以新生錄取名額百分之九十分配床位,並以居住地點距離學校遠者優先分配。

Q5.Are all first-year students required to live in the dorms?

A5. The school doesn't mandate that all first-year students live in dorms, but it reserves beds for new undergraduate students. If there aren't enough beds, 90% of the newly admitted students will be allocated beds, with priority given to those whose residence is furthest from the school.

Q6.床位申請是否有優先順序?

A6.依本校「學生宿舍分配作業規定」僑外陸生、公費生、離島生、身心障礙學生、低收入戶學生、中低收入戶學生、原住民弱勢學生、運動績優生、宿舍幹部得依序優先分配床位。除各學制新生第一年外,其餘舊生(宿舍幹部另案辦理甄選)於每年11月左右開放登記申請保障床位(以住宿組網頁公告期限為主)

Q6.Is there a priority system for bed applications?

A6. According to our school's "Student Dormitory Allocation Regulations," priority for bed allocation is given to the following students, in order: overseas Chinese, international, and mainland Chinese students; government-sponsored students; students from outlying islands; students with disabilities; low-income students; middle-to-low income students; disadvantaged Indigenous students; and outstanding athletes. Additionally, dormitory officers are also given priority.  Except for first-year students in all academic programs, all other returning students (dormitory cadres will be selected separately) can register to apply for a guaranteed bed space around November each year. The specific application deadline will be announced on the Housing Service Section website.

Q7.申請學生宿舍的程序?

A7.新生入學第一年,依住宿組網頁公告開放登記的申請期限內,至宿舍申請系統(https://webap1.ncue.edu.tw/Dorm/)線上登記後直接安排床位,若床位不足時,得以新生錄取名額百分之九十分配床位,並以居住地點距離學校遠者優先分配,保證金、住宿費併入註冊繳費單一併開立。

其餘舊生,依住宿組網頁公告開放登記之申請期限內,至宿舍申請系統(https://webap1.ncue.edu.tw/Dorm/)線上登記,以抽籤方式進行,抽中床位名單公告後7日內未放棄床位者,即開立保證金繳費單,完成保證金繳費後始分配床位,未依限繳費者,視為放棄床位資格,不予分配床位。

Q7.What is the procedure for applying for student dormitory?

A7. In the first year of enrollment, freshmen may directly be assigned a dormitory bed after registering online via the Dormitory Application System (https://webap1.ncue.edu.tw/Dorm/) within the application period announced on the Housing Service Section website. If the number of applicants exceeds the available beds, beds will be allocated to 90% of the admitted freshmen, with priority given to those whose place of residence is farther from the university. The dormitory deposit and accommodation fees will be included in the registration payment bill. Current students must register online via the Dormitory Application System ( https://webap1.ncue.edu.tw/Dorm/) within the application period announced on the Housing Service Section website. Bed allocation will be conducted by lottery. Students who are selected and do not forfeit their bed within 7 days of the lottery result announcement will be issued a payment bill for the dormitory deposit. Only after completing the deposit payment will the bed be officially allocated. Failure to pay within the deadline will be considered as a forfeiture of the bed, and no bed will be assigned.

Q8.可以自由選擇校區?如何分配床位?

A8.轉學生及研究生可選擇校區住宿,大學部新生由學校依系所分配校區及宿舍。宿舍分配原則:教育學院、文學院、理學院、社科體院新生分配進德校區七舍、八舍住宿、舊生分配進德校區三舍、五舍、六舍、八舍住宿,科技、工、管理學院分配寶山校區九舍(舊生居多)、十舍(新生為主)住宿,若有異動,均以住宿組統一調配為主。

Q8.Can I freely choose the campus? How are bed assignments made?

A8. Transfer students and graduate students may choose their preferred campus for accommodation. Undergraduate freshmen will be assigned to a campus and dormitory by the university based on their department. Freshmen from the Colleges of Education, Liberal Arts, Science, and Social Sciences & Physical Education will be assigned to Dormitory 7 or 8 on the Jinde Campus. Current students from these colleges will be assigned to Dormitories 3, 5, 6, or 8 on the Jinde Campus. Students from the Colleges of Technology, Engineering, and Management will be assigned to the Baoshan Campus—mainly Dormitory 9 for current students and Dormitory 10 for freshmen. All adjustments, if any, will be arranged centrally by the Housing Service Section.

Q9.如何辦理入宿手續?該找誰負責?要領什麼物品?

A9.依每人獲配之床位及住宿組網頁公告之開放入宿期限內,自行前往各宿舍找值勤幹部辦理入宿手續(簽名、領取鑰匙或臨時卡等物品),若無法配合,其餘入宿時間請三天前與宿舍幹部預約(各宿舍值勤表另行公告於住宿組網頁)

Q9.How do I complete the dormitory check-in process? Who is in charge, and what items should I collect?

A9. According to the assigned bed and the move-in period announced on the Housing Service Section website, students must go to their respective dormitories during the designated time to complete the check-in procedures with the on-duty dorm officers (such as signing in, receiving the key or temporary access card, etc.) If unable to check in during the designated period, students must make an appointment with the dorm officers at least three days in advance. (The duty schedules for each dorm will be separately announced on the Housing Service Section website.)

住宿中During Residency

Q10.入宿後能否更換寢室或宿舍?

A10.床位經公告後,如因個人因素欲換寢者,須先填寫「換寢申請書」向住宿組提出申請,經核准換寢者,每學期第一次不收費,第二次後每次需繳手續費300元並補繳住宿費差額,惟異動至較低住宿費概不退費。

Q10.Can I change my room or dormitory after moving in?

A10. After bed assignments are announced, students who wish to change rooms due to personal reasons must first submit a “Room Change Application Form” to the Housing Service Section for approval. The first approved room change per semester is free of charge. For the second and any subsequent changes, a processing fee of NT$300 will be charged each time, along with payment of any difference in accommodation fees must be paid. However, if the new assignment has a lower accommodation fee, no refund will be given.

Q11.已繳住宿費,但不想入住了,該如何辦理退費?

A11.1、個人因素退宿(保證金不退費、住宿費依本校學生宿舍管理作業規定辦理退費,第13週後不退費)

2、休學、退學、轉學、提早畢業退宿(可退保證金、住宿費依本校學生宿舍管理作業規定辦理退費,第13週後不退費)

3、填寫「退費申請表」並檢附繳費收據、存摺封面影本送交至住宿組辦理。

Q11.I've already paid the dormitory fees, but I no longer wish to live in the dorms. How can I get a refund?

A11. 1.Dormitory Withdrawal for Personal Reasons:

The deposit will not be refunded. Accommodation fees will be refunded according to the university's Student Dormitory Management Regulations. No refunds will be given after Week 13 of the semester.

2.Dormitory Withdrawal due to Leave of Absence, Withdrawal from the University, Transfer, or Early Graduation:

The deposit will be refunded. Accommodation fees will be refunded according to the university's Student Dormitory Management Regulations. No refunds will be given after Week 13 of the semester.

3.Refund Application:

Submit a "Refund Application Form" along with the payment receipt and a photocopy of the front page of your bankbook to the Housing Service Section.

Q12.宿舍是否有門禁?

A12.各宿舍設有門禁刷卡裝置,需經核准住宿者始得以學生證(或臨時卡)刷卡進入,但沒有設定時間管制(隨時可進出),請住宿生於夜間返回宿舍時,盡量輕聲細語,共同維護居住品質。

Q12. Is there an access control system in the dormitories?

A12. All dormitories are equipped with card access control systems. Only students who have been approved for accommodation can enter using their student ID card (or a temporary access card). However, there is no time restriction-students may enter or exit at any time. Please be considerate and keep noise to a minimum when returning to the dormitory at night to help maintain a good living environment.

Q13.寢室內小冰箱該如何申請?

A13.每學年依住宿組網頁公告開放登記之申請期限內,向各舍幹部領取申請表,完成審核及繳費後始得放置於寢室內。

Q13. How can I apply to have a mini fridge in the dorm room?

A13. Each academic year, during the application period announced on the Housing Service Section website,students can obtain an application form from their dormitory officers. Only after approval and payment may the mini fridge be placed in the dorm room.

Q14.晚上如果有緊急狀況要怎麼辦?

A14. 住宿生夜間(20:00至隔天08:00)遇有宿舍事務、事件需處理或協助,請撥打宿舍輔導員電話以便即時給予協助。謝謝!

Q14. What should I do if there’s an emergency at night?

A14. If dormitory residents encounter any dorm-related issues or emergencies during the night (from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM), please contact the dormitory counselor by phone for immediate assistance. Thank you!

退宿時 check out

Q15.寢室清空是所有東西都要清空嗎?

A15.是的,請將寢室內的個人物品,包括書桌、床位、衣櫃等完全清空,垃圾應自行打包後分類放置於垃圾集中區,如留下物品(包括垃圾)於寢室內或房門口,視同未清空,將扣除部分保證金。

Q15. When clearing out the dorm room, does everything need to be removed?

A15. All personal belongings in the room, including those in the desk, bed area, and wardrobe, must be completely removed. Trash should be bagged and properly sorted in the designated garbage collection area. If any items (including trash) are left inside the room or at the door, it will be considered as not fully cleared, and part of the deposit will be deducted.

Q16.如何辦理退宿手續?

A16.先將個人寢室清空,於宿舍幹部值勤時間辦理退宿手續(繳回鑰匙、冷氣卡、臨時卡等物品),如需退費,請填具退費申請表請宿舍勤值幹部於床位檢查後蓋章,並將退費申請表檢附相關證明文件後,繳交至住宿組辦理退費。

Q16. How do I complete the dormitory check-out procedure?

A16. First, clear out all personal belongings from your dorm room. Then, during the dorm officers’ duty hours, return your key, air conditioning card, temporary access card, and other relevant items to complete the check-out process. If you are applying for a refund, fill out the Refund Application Form and have the on-duty dorm officers stamp it after inspecting your bed space. Submit the stamped form along with the required supporting documents to the Housing Service Section for processing.

Q17.保證金何時會退還?

A17.住宿期滿(上、學期),於規定期限內離宿,無保證金扣除情事,經住宿組簽報全額無息退回住宿保證金核定後(約每年8),以轉帳方式匯入學生個人帳戶。

Q17. When will the deposit be refunded?

A17. After the end of the accommodation period (fall and spring semester), if the student checks out within the designated timeframe and there are no deductions from the deposit, the full amount        (interest-free) will be refunded. Once approved by the Housing Service Section (around August each year), the refund will be transferred directly to the student’s bank account.

Q18.寒暑假住宿該如何申請?

A18.依住宿組網頁公告開放登記的申請期限內,至宿舍申請系統(https://webap1.ncue.edu.tw/Dorm/)線上登記後直接安排床位。

A18. During the application period announced on the Housing Service Section website, students may register online through the Dormitory Application System (https://webap1.ncue.edu.tw/Dorm/) to be directly assigned a bed.

Q19.寒、暑宿床位會跟原本的相同嗎?

A19.原則由住宿組統一調配床位,視公告時可提供申請之宿舍而定,寒假除境外生春節可留宿需移寢外,原則上寒假床位跟第一學期相同留原寢;暑假以集中住宿為原則。

Q19. Will the bed during winter or summer break be the same as during the semester?

A19. Bed assignments are coordinated by the Housing Service Section and depend on the dormitories available at the time of the announcement. In principle, winter break beds are the same as those from the first semester unless students need to relocate (e.g., international students staying over Lunar New Year). For summer break, accommodations are usually arranged in designated dormitories.

Q20.申請寒、暑宿後東西還需要清空嗎?

A20.寒、暑假床位公告後,與前一學期床位相同者,無需清空床位,但仍需依限辦理「學期退宿」及「寒、暑期入宿」手續,如寒、暑宿床位與學期床位不同者,務必清空床位(含垃圾)及辦理退宿手續。

Q20. Do I need to clear out my belongings after applying for winter or summer break accommodation?

A20. If your winter/summer break bed is the same as your previous semester’s, you do not need to clear out your belongings. However, you must still complete theSemester Check-outand Winter/Summer Check-inprocedures. If your assigned bed differs from the semester’s, you must clear out your belongings (including trash) and complete the check-out process.

Q21.只有申請寒、暑宿全期才能放東西嗎?

A21.經核准寒、暑假住宿者,於申請期間內個人物品可以放置於寢室內,未經核准住宿者,需將寢室清空且辦理退宿手續後,將個人物品打包整齊放置於各宿舍暫時規劃的儲藏空間內,惟學校不負保管責任,請住宿生生自行審酌。

Q21. Can I leave my belongings in the room only if I apply for the full winter or summer stay?

A21. Students approved for winter or summer accommodation may keep their personal belongings in the dorm room during the approved stay period. Those not approved must clear out the room and complete the check-out procedure. Packed belongings may be stored in a temporary storage area designated by the dormitory, but the university is not responsible for any lost or damaged items—students must assess the risk themselves.
